Our History

R&R Janitorial Services was founded in October 1994 by Ms. Juana Canales, our president and owner. Juana, who has been working in the business for more than 15 years, was inspired by her mother and decided to start her own business. In October of 1995, just one year later, R&R was incorporated and changed it's name to R&R Janitorial, Painting & Building Services, Inc. Located in the basement of her mother's home, Juana had another vision. After 5 years, Juana moved the business to it's current location, 1931 15th Street, NW, in DC. R&R now provides a rainbow of services, and we invite you to stop by or visit us on the web.

In March of 1999, R&R received its 8a certification after meeting all the requirements set forth by the Small Business Administration. Putting in long hours by attending classes, meetings, workshops, seminars, etc., Juana still finds time to visit her clients. You will see her at the job site, working close with the employees who also enjoy her company. She provides on the job training and believes that a well-educated employee is not just a good employee, but a happy and productive one.
